Ford Motor Company does not want financial constraints to prevent students from realizing their dreams. That is why throughout history, Ford has invested millions of dollars in scholarships that support African American students and HBCU's. Our scholarship partners have included the Thurgood Marshall and Jackie Robinson Scholarship Foundations as well as UNCF.

Since 2005, Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF) and Ford Motor Company Fund have partnered to impact African-American male students directly through scholarships that facilitate access to college for low-income students, support their persistence, and help them graduate and earn a college degree. TMCF and Ford together know that these scholarships are the best way to directly impact students who would otherwise not be able to afford to go to college - as a lack of funding is the primary reason that smart, capable students end their college education before graduating. Over the past 13 years, TMCF and Ford Motor Company Fund have transformed the lives of dozens of students through this scholarship program - providing them with tools for brighter futures. We look forward to continuing our partnership with the Ford Motor Company Fund and impacting even more students' lives for the better.
